This is a little something I do
when I have baked a pork loin and have leftovers.
It also works well with ham.
Billie's Po'Boy
Mustard
tomato sliced thin and halved to fit bun
Boscoli Italian Olive Salad small
pieces of lettuce
Swiss cheese slices or Monterey jack
Gorgonzola Cheese
Hoagie Buns
Slice Hoagie buns length wise, lay on a cookie
sheet and heat a little at 350 degrees. Spread mustard on each
side of the bun, then spread about 2 Tlbs. of Boscoli olive salad on
the bun also. Slice pork thin, lay slices on both sides of bun, then slices
of cheese made to fit on one side of bun. (I overlap mine a little.) Run
this back in the oven to melt cheese, you can turn the stove on broil to
save time. Sprinkle
Gorgonzola cheese on the softly melted cheese.
Place tomato and lettuce on the other side of bun. You are ready to close
it up and enjoy. If you want it really hot, at this point wrap it
in foil and run it back in the over for a bit.
